Anyway, long story short: to turn off RSS, use the following command:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSyndicationEnabled -bool NOsweet! I have been searching this for a long time because I need to check original xml files such as RSS and Atom feeds with a browser. Despite of the fact that Firefox is my default browser, this is good to know.
Terminal.app (on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard) is my lifeline. But with the default settings, it uses a lot of system memory. Sometimes memory usages goes up 600 MB. I haven't investigated it since my MacBook has 4GB RAM and I restarted Terminal.app every morning. Yeah, it didn't use that much just after launching. So, it was fine.
Go "Preferences" and "Settings", click "window" tab. Select "Limit number of rows to:" and put a small enough number like 50. After modifying this configuration, Terminal.app's memory usage keeps under 30MB. It's a huge difference. Before that, sometimes it used to go up to 600MB or so at the end of day.
Don't I need to scroll back more than 50 lines? Well, I'm using GNU Screen whenever I opened Terminal.app so that I can scroll back more than that.
Apple updated their Mac mini (and more but I don't care). Upgrading the video chip is what I had wanted before I purchased the last one, Mid 2007 model w/Tiger, which didn't change graphics processor: Intel GMA 950. Here's how they upgraded the spec.

The thing made me confused is VRAM. Apple says:

Is this hardware *configuration*? heh. No, it isn't. Some guys got the $599 model already tested with third party bigger RAM like 2GB, 4GB and saw that 256MB VRAM was allocated from main RAM. (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=661197)
That's awesome. I'll buy the base model and 4GB RAM. Be careful, the DDR3 is not cheap as DDR2 is and make sure its spec says "204 pin" and "PC3-8500". If it works on new MacBook Unibody, it should work on the new mini too. So, go there online store, find RAM for MacBook Unibody and throw it into your cart!
Update: I've just found the story on 123macmini.com. "OWC offers 4GB memory kits for new Mac mini ". Yeah, OWC rocks.
